The GPX 500R (also sold as the ZX 500B) was a short-lived European sportbike built from 1988 to 1990 as the successor to the GPz 500R. It used a 497 cc transverse four with four Keihin carburetors and a digital ignition, and it had Uni-Trak rear suspension with air-assisted front forks. It is described as scarce today, and it was replaced by the ZZR 500.
